This is a beautiful draw!!!
Really I don“t understand how do you manage to do this lovely piece of art living in the middle of that horror. You have a wonderful soul, plenty of all the beauty you expose although the evil is all around.

Je ne parle malheureusement ni arabe ni anglais mais je voudrais dire tout mon soutien et ma compassion au peuple libanais de quelque confession que ce soit.

It is no mystery: this beauty comes out of the horror. The Pieta is after all an image of a mother holding her murdered son. (And Christ was considered the ancient version of a terrorist).

I appreciate the black ironies at work here.

Thanks for your great blog. (And your mother's great blog too). I am a poet, and for me your resistance is inspiring, that art continues to matter, as it must. I like to think I would be as stubborn in such circumstances, not that I have any way of knowing that I would be. And I might not.

As a friend - also a poet - said to me a couple of days ago, we have to find new ways towards humanness.
